Nolan & Coralene "I had a new house built in the Endeavour area in 2007/2008. The house was heated electrically with space heaters during construction through the winter of 2007/08. Your company had installed the vertical loops in 2007 but did not install the geothermal unit until the spring of '08. Through 2009 my electricity was billed quarterly based on the projection of my 2008 yearly use. The meter is read annually at the end of December and the adjustment to the actual electrical demand is done." "Well, I just got my first bill showing the demand with the geothermal system operating. To be more precise I just got the bill for the first quarter of 2009 already paid for by the overcharge from last year based on 2008 usage plus an additional credit toward the second quarter bill. The electrical usage over the 366 days covered between readings was 12300 kw-hrs. This is an electrical cost of under $1100 for the year for all demand in a split level with 1350 square feet on the main floor, not just the geothermal system.
